MEAL ON THE GO GREEN SMOOTHIE
Healthy fats are back in vogue. This recipe combines them with proteins to provide a healthy ‘meal replacement’ green smoothie. As usual, I’d recommend using frozen berries and banana, if you’re using fresh ingredients, you might want to add a couple of ice cubes.
140g (2 cups) of fresh kale
500ml (2 cups) of almond milk, unsweetened
300g (2 cups) of berries
1 banana, sliced
2 tablespoons almond butter + 25g (¼ cup) of rolled oats
1. Blend kale and almond milk together, until smooth.
2. Add remaining ingredients, blend until smooth.
Serve and enjoy, or chill in the fridge for later.
